Although BMW’s M division produces a similar performance model of the 6-series, their crosstown partner, Alpina, was brought in to build something a bit different. Although the power increase propels the car from 0 to 60 in a mere 3.7 seconds, it leans a bit more to the luxury side of the spectrum. It’s for those buyers who want significant performance increases without sacrificing comfort and luxury that is more of the M version trademark. These cars were sold new through the local BMW dealers.
This Alpina was built in October of 2015 and sold new on February 28th, 2016 by BMW of Encinitas, California. Although these models came very well equipped with items that are optional on lower models, it was still ordered with the following additional factory options:

Furthermore, this owner had all the windows ceramic tinted including the windshield as well as multiple layers of ceramic coating on the painted finishes.
The exterior of this Alpina B6 is in excellent condition and looks very close to new. It appears to be all original. There are minimal signs of use with just a few tiny chips on the front nose from normal use. All the glass is original, including the windshield with no cracks and just one tiny chip on the windshield. The trim and light lenses look perfect. All the exterior lights work. The Alpina wheels are in good shape with no major curb rash. They are wearing Michel Pilot Super Sport tires dated the middle of 2017. The tires have about 10k miles on them. The front tires have a bit more than half-life. The rear tires are a bit under half-life. The front brakes have a bit more than a third-life and the rear brakes are just under half-life.
The interior is impeccable and shows hardly any signs of wear. The front leather seats have no rips or tears and show just some very slight wear on the driver exit bolster. The rear seats barely look used. The headliner and door panels look fresh. The dash has no cracks or other issues. All the gauges, buttons, switches, a/c, radio, sunroof, and all other electrical features function properly.
This Alpina B6 drives like new. It feels tight and responsive. It starts easily and once you figure out the landscape of controls, it’s fairly intuitive. Although, at first glance, it feels a bit like peeking into the cockpit of a 747. The power is intense but velvety smooth. Gobs of torque. The handling feels crisp and confidence-inspiring. The brakes have tremendous stopping power with no fading or pulling. This is comfortable enough to be used daily, yet still engaging on sweeping turns. Plus, the majority of the depreciation is done.
California registration is paid to July of 2022 and it passes our California strict smog test.
This Alpina comes with the original window sticker, two keys, owner’s manuals/books, sunshade, special custom blended touch-up paint, small factory tool kit, air compressor, flat repair kit, and all recent service records.

Taxes and Fees: Out of state buyers are not charged tax, title, or license but are responsible for the documentation fee if shipping the car out of state on a licensed/bonded carrier.  If the buyer chooses to drive the car out of state, we will provide a one way transfer permit () but we will still have to collect local CA sales tax (which most states will reiumburse). The customer is responsible for registering the vehicle in their home state.
