Delco Remy starters are engineered to perfection to start heavy duty and off-road vehicles in all conditions and environments, and the 39MT is no exception. Not only is the starter lightweight for easy installation, but it's optimal for heavy duty truck engines. The 39MT specifically is built with an electrical soft start that rotates the pinion for proper ring gear engagement before cranking, minimizing tooth abutment related damage. It's sealed solid link solenoid eliminates contact welding in low system voltage situations, providing enhanced reliability. The sealed noiseless configuration in this starter minimizes debris accumulation and contamination. This starter uniquely includes an integral magnetic switch (IMS) that ensures maximum voltage in any starting condition as well as rotatable flange models that help improve service flexibility.
