This instrument is made from uniform bore borosilicate tubing.  The graduations are white and are permanently fused onto the glass.
Eudiometers are routinely used to measure the volume of  gas evolved from reactions between reactants of known mass.
Eudiometers are  frequently used in educational settings and for general laboratory procedures.
