Hix B-250 Hat Press
120 Volt 450 watts with three prong plug.
This is an older hat press that was laying around unused in our shop for years taking up space. I don't know the history. It is just a hat press with one curved platten. I don't know the platten size as the item has already been boxed to make room for more storage racks. Before it was boxed, it was plugged in and it heated up and stayed on for over an hour. The timer worked. The latch works. The platten is clean with no melted items or anything that would damage your item while being pressed. the bottom platten is in good condition. It weights 29 pounds boxed.
There are similar units listed for as much as 0 on here. I don't know why. They aren't worth that much, but apparently some people like them or they wouldn't be on here. I am starting the bid on the auction at .99 plus .00 shipping. That is as fair as I can be.  We just need it gone.  Good Luck.

The HIX B-250 is a super portable hat press that’s lightweight enough to bring to shows. The transfer hold down blanket ensures transfers don’t shift.
The B-250 cap press is a manual machine which features a features an analog timer that is adjustable up to 99 minutes and 59 seconds, shows countdown on readout, beeps after elapsed time, and resets when the open and close handle (with full range pressure adjustment) is raised.
The temperature control is adjustable up to 450°F (232°C) and displays the current temperature. A manual pressure adjustment is located at the back of the cap mount. The innovative bottom cap hold-down stretches the cap out, holding it snug to the lower (rubber covered) platen. A Teflon blanket is suspended between the upper and lower platen to hold the transfer (or lettering) in place before the heating element is locked down.
The B-250 comes standard with a golf size (3″ x 5-1/2″) lower rubber covered platen. It can be interchanged with the optional youth size (2-3/4″ x 5-1/4″) or ball size (3-3/4″ x 5-7/8″). HIX can make custom platens as well.
