Made of borosilicate glass code 7740.
Pestle outer diameter of 15.8mm and pestle length of 235mm, with a mortar tube outer diameter of 21mm and a length of 150mm; pestle takes a No. 1 rubber stopper.
Mortar tubes and pestles are ground to be interchangeable; clearance between the two parts is approximately 0.15mm.
Designed for hand grinding small samples for pathological and biochemical work; made in accordance with Federal Specification NNN-T-360B.
