    Description

    Richard William Farnsworth. (1920-2000). American actor and stuntman. He was twice nominated for an Academy Award in 1978 for Best Supporting Actor for Comes a Horseman, and in 2000 for Best Actor in The Straight Story, making him the oldest nominee for the award at the time. Other performances include The Grey Fox (1982), Anne of Greene Gables (1985), Sylvester (1985) and Misery (1990). He also had an uncredited appearance in Gone With the Wind (1939). 7x4 Warner Bros. payroll check, Burbank, Ca, November 11, 1984, for 9.01, endorsed in ink on the verso. Bank stamps touch signature.
