Description

This auction is for one page from an early 1930's collection of whiskey, liquor and wine labels.  It seems the
collector was from the Peoria, Illinois area,
for many of the labels seem to come from the region.  They were carefully removed from bottles and attached 4 to a page [2 on each side] using 'stamp hinges' normally used by someone for his stamp collecting hobby.  Their release is quite easy and there is no harm to the labels.  The collector seems to be Roy Miller and he used a University Loose Leaf Notebook Binder for his collection. A

on the back and the fact that no labels
could
be found more recent that 1934 suggests a
collection from the early 1930's, approximately, approximately 85 years old.
